To His Loved Ones!

P8310040
Hello Loved Ones,

I know it has been a while since I updated this blog. Well I apologize. I have so much to tell yall though. First of all I would like to welcome my new neice into the world. Her name is Addyson Lynn. (Sorry John and Jaime if I missed spelled her name!)

So I bet you're wondering about what's going on in Lima, Peru. On Tuesday, the students and I here at the Bible College will be going on a mission trip to Juanaco, Peru. It is about 6 hours away from Lima up in the mountains. We will working with kids in a very poor stricken area of Peru. They say it is a very dark place, and I can testify to the spiritual warfare already. So your prayers are ever so needed and ever so appreciated. We will be leaving Tuesday night and returning Monday morning.

As far as school goes, it is going ok. To be honest I have been having a tough time. I have been fighting the good fight though. I remember these words in the Bible,"With much learning comes much sorrow!" I think the more we grow, the more we realize how wicked we really are. But when sin abounds Grace does abound much more! The words of Paul bring comfort to me, because I see that even a man with so great a faith can feel these words, "Oh wretched man that I am!" I am not writing this letter seeking anyone to have pitty for me, I just want to express my true heart today to those in Christ who may be going through the same thing. Know this, His loved ones, that our Lord Jesus was a Man of constant sorrow. (Isaiah 53:3) "He is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief." This life is but for a moment my brothers and sisters, so fight the good the fight of faith and in due time we will reap an everlasting reward, and that reward is eternity in the presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Oh ya, you too! and me! You have to put up with me for eternity, haha!!! lol I love yall and hope to see you all soon! May the peace of God guard your hearts, and may you lean upon His Grace for every need that is layed before you.

Hello faithful ones,

Well I know it has been a while since I have updated my blog, I am sorry. It has been a tight schedule here at the beginning of the school year, getting adjusted and all. But, I think you will be hearing from me more frequently. I have added a link to another website address I have set up, in order that yall may see what's going on in Lima Peru.

Tomorrow I will be leaving campus with about 20 other students to stay in an orphanage, which will be a future ministry of the Bible College here where I am at in Lima. The students and I will be taking our Joshua class out at the orphanage, as well as helping to get the place finished and ready for the kids to move in! The Bible College and Calvary Chapel Lima have paired up to make this happen, how awesome. When you look around yourself here, all you can help to see is fruit being ripened and prepared for our Lord Jesus Christ. If you listen closely, you can hear the fruit as it hits the ground, and that is when i hear little children, students, parents, and even the elderly laughing with smiles on their faces to big to wipe away.

Please pray for the students these next two weeks as they draw close to the Lord and seek His infinite wisdom!

Prayer reguests from the frontlines in Peru, my future landing pad!

We would like to request prayer for a three-day outreach we will be doing next week in Ventanilla/Pachacutec, the largest we have done to date, coordinating more than 200 participants from Peru and the United States. This July 17-19 "invasion" includes two bands, lots of clowns, puppets and evangelistic mimes.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit would open the hearts of those we will be ministering to in the schools, parks and the main concert event on Saturday evening. Ask the Lord for boldness and for His protection for each participant, too. Also, remember to pray for Pastor Raul Cervera, his wife Betty, and Darci Berry who are working in this area full-time.

You are loved, and your labor in the Lord is much appreciated!
Awaiting His Reply,

John Bonner

Cavalry Chapel San Antonio Mission Team

Keep them in your prayers as we will be taking them into Matamoras, Mexico. The first day went well with the V.B.S. We had about 80 people including the parents with the kids. They also had the opportunity to pass out rice and beans in a colonia (neighborhood) . As they were passing out the rice and beans, a bunch of us guys started playing soccer with kids from Mexico. Before you knew it everyone jumped in, including women, Pastors, and all! What a blast!
I had the opportunity along with a father and son to pray and share the Gospel with two grown men today on the streets of Matamoras. Keep them in your prayers as well that they will find a church home, and come to know the full truth of God's Word! They have a heavy influence of Catholicism. My prayers with them was that God would open up their eyes to see the Truth, and their hearts to receive His Son.

Our next Mission team will be arriving this Saturday from Bear Creek Baptists Church in Houston Texas. They will be going 70 miles south into Mexico, to a town called Las Higuerillas. It is a fishing village on the Coast. Their mission will be to do a V.B.S. Mon-Thurs, along with a construction project. Construction Project: Continue building a Mission facility that will be used for housing our mission teams who want to stay in Mexico. (An awesome opportunity to really see their way of life from a new and closer perspective!)

Church Family,

First of all I would like to thank each of you for your prayers. Your prayers are what makes the Body of Christ come together into unity. Prayers are what hold up the weak and keep the strong going! No matter who you are or what you do, you are able to pray. Prayer is our weapon that no man, no demon, not even satan himself, can strip it from it's power!

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

If you have not yet heard, I will be going off to Peru to attend Cavalry Chapel Bible College. Many of you know my testimony in Christ and how He has brought me through many trials and afflictions. Through them all I have come to this conclusion; I will always be in need of His present help! Never am I exempted from the necessity of God's Work in my life. I will always be on the road to perfectness until that glorious day that I am present with the Lord. Do you understand, everthing will be perfect when we get to behold the Glory of God, His Son Jesus Christ. Nothing gets more perfect than that. All things will have passed away, behold all things will become new for eternity! That is what we have to look forward too, are you ready.

I am now putting in my request for your prayer. Prayer is not the least you can do for me, it is the most that you can do for me! All the rest are blessings, thank you so much for all your support.

P.S. I am putting together a prayer team that will be praying for me while I am on the front lines, The Prayer Warriors! If you would like to be on the team than email me at die4JesusChrist@yahoo.com, or simply post your comment on my blog. The prayer team will be notified when and where we step onto the frontline. You will also be updated with prayer request from the field. It's time to help BUILD HIS KINGDOM!

NOTE: Remember to email me so I can put you on the Prayer Warrior-mailing lists.
NOTE:You can also email me prayer request of your own. (just specify if you want it kept secret)
